About this Treatment
Your Mesoestetic Peel gets started with an in-depth consultation, carried out by one of our highly trained skin experts, determining the best approach for your specific needs. This is followed by the application of a ‘salicylic prep peel’ that helps to get your complexion ready for the upcoming treatment by unclogging pores and kick-starting the cell renewal process.
On the day of treatment a pharmaceutical grade solution containing glycolic acid and other active ingredients will be applied to the skin and left to develop. This gradually penetrates the skin and works to remove the top layer, including old skin cells, allowing for new, healthy skin cells to come to the surface. We only leave this solution on for a matter of minutes before it is neutralised and removed.
Like other chemical peels the Mesoestetic Peel gently resurfaces the skin to brighten the skin and improve its texture and tone. After approximately 5 days some slight shedding of the skin will occur as the surface layer is replenished.

Is the Mesoestetic Peel painful?
This treatment is minimally-invasive, only causing minor side effects. There should be no pain felt during the procedure, however, some slight tingling may occur as the solution is left to develop. Therefore, we do not feel the need to offer a topical anaesthetic.
Are there any side effects or risks?
As the surface layer is removed, the new skin underneath may feel slightly sensitive. It could also look a little flushed, and will need to be protected from UV rays with a daily application of a high SPF.
What results can I expect?
You may notice results immediately after treatment which continue to improve over the next few weeks. Typically, the complexion will become clearer, brighter, smoother and more even in tone.
